Opal Suchata Chuangsri from Thailand has been crowned Miss World 2025. She made history as the first Thai woman to win the prestigious title. The grand finale took place on May 31, 2025, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, India.
Opal, 22, is a student of Politics and International Relations at
Thammasat University in Bangkok. She is fluent in Thai, English, and Chinese
and has a passion for psychology and anthropology. She has also volunteered for
breast cancer awareness organizations, a cause close to her heart after
undergoing surgery at 16 to remove a benign lump.
The runner-up was Hasset Dereje Admassu from Ethiopia, while Maja
Klajda from Poland and Aurélie Joachim from Martinique secured the second and
third runner-up positions, respectively.
